There is an important change to the FCPS bus pass policy this year.  Students who need to ride a different bus home with a classmate must submit a note in writing to the office.  The student they are riding the bus home with that day must also submit a note to the office.  Both notes must then be approved and signed by the principal and faxed to the transportation office in the morning, so that it can be given to the bus driver on the appropriate afternoon route. Due to the new requirement, it is extremely important that students bring notes that involve changes in transportation to the office in the morning.    Students who bring notes to the office in the afternoon will not be permitted to ride a different bus that day.

As a reminder, kindergarten bus riders must be met by an adult in the afternoon at the bus stop.  Kindergarten students will not be allowed to exit the bus without an adult to meet them.  If your kindergarten child is a bus rider, they will have a piece of yellow tape placed on their backpack strap to let everyone know that they are in kindergarten and need to be met by an adult.  Please do not remove this tape, as we use this as a safety precaution. 

Kiss and Ride is located in the parking lot area, and students will enter the building through the cafeteria.  Please refer to this map and note the flow of traffic in the Kiss and Ride area.
